The Baths, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

OMG! If you ever have a chance to visit the British Virgin Islands, don’t pass up the opportunity. Last night we boarded our chartered catamaran with Dream Yacht Charters and sailed across the sound from St. Martin to the BVI overnight. Lauren (us too) we’re super excited about our boat. We’re on a big catamaran that sleeps 12 passengers. However, two cabins were not sold so we are a group of seven. The three of us are joined by Andrea and Mimi from Italy and Nancy and Richard from Sweden. Luckily everyone speaks English (mostly)! Our captain, Bruno, is French but looks like Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Our first stop was Virgin Gorda and the famous Baths. The super large boulder lie right at the water’s edge and allow for walking and swimming in and out of the light and dark. It’s really hard to describe but it makes for some great photos!

WiFi is limited around here, so we’ll keep this one short. Plus, we have rum drinks waiting!
